@ 1:50 AM Kaiyun, Remember when we were Sec 1s, you became my first friend in secondary school. For the first three days of orientation, you were there for me. I remember myself being timid and shy but because of you, I felt that there was someone who was as scared as I was in a brand new environment. The most memorable was that game when you taught me to LOOK DOWN. Haha, that certainly brings back many many good memories. You were firm and strong on your words, you feel like a big sister to me. Years flew by.. ... we went through so many childish quarrels and survived them all. We matured together and had a slight change in our personalities. But however, you are still the one who has the initiative to organise outings and gatherings; your genorousity in lending people money when in need and also your kindness. These are what most people remember you of: Fierce exterior but super sweet inside. You are always one of the people who offer help in any form and giving a listening ear. Although sometimes we may not agree on somethings, we are still very good friends. I thank you for being my friend and also staying by me. Be it in band, work and school, I am very thankful for everything you've given me. Happy 18th Birthday, Kaiyun! :) May you enjoy this special day of yours! Jiayou for O'Levels!!! Remember the times when we were still in blue pinaform and white blouses w 'belts', the times when all IJ girls love is to sing give thanks w all the people going to the school stage to collect the I've-never-eaten-before prayer biscuit from Father, the times we have to say the whatever prayer for twelve(?) times early in the morning and SILENT READING w the classical music, how we love it when the bell rings and it's to pray for dismissal, and the most memorable times in 6Joy ! No matter how different we are , we're always very united ! Agar Agar Tan w her famous hairstyle (: And still my most respected and loved teacher , Mrs Lorraine Lim . I believe she's one of your favourite teacher too , right ? She's one who set a perfect example for her students , and always scolding people w a very valid reason , and there's one thing she said that's totaly etched in my mind and heart , 'I dont have to have kids , I have you all already , you all are my children .' awww, remember ? And I totally missed her Brownies , do you ? Then we moved on to a totally new and different environment . And we had guys for classmates , how weird , thats what I thought .Cause we grew up w girls , LOL! haha , as we got used to it , we make new friends but also not forgetting the old ones. Unknowingly , we treasure all of our friends , no matter how long we know each other, we love our friends like how I love you (: And I will definitely remember your trademark expression when you're like totally pekcek , HAHAH . And your 'as red as tomato' face, long no see liaos leh , LOL ! And the way we talk/shout like how Shona tot we're quarrelling and actually we're not ! You're a special friend to me, you're always by my side whenever i need you, and your arms are always open to offer me any help , I really do appreciate you for what you did , for what you are and for what we are. Like many times we quarrel , we would always talk to each other forgetting what that had happened, haha , thats what make us friends right ? (: We're like rubberband , we push and stretch each other's limits but we got tougher ! ;D Some times you're like the big sister, you'll start to nag at me, and some times i'll be the big sister to nag at you , we took turns^^ always reminding each other, encouraging each other . Remember I told you , believe you can , confirm can do it one. I'm still going to tell you that BELIEVE YOU CAN , YOU CONFIRM CAN DO IT ! We're all behind you ^^ ! So go all the way for Os and Jiayou , you can do it . you can do it , in the end im still going to say you can do it , cause I beileve you can (: if you need me , same thing , call me or sms me , which one is more convenient for you. @ 12:50 AM  Dearest Kaiyun, First and foremost, a Happy 18th Birthday to you! My heart sank when I read Sharlene's post. It reminded me once again that we're all heading towards different directions in time to come. And that time, is tomorrow. And my God. It feels like just yesterday that I saw that empty seat beside you on the first day of school 2 years ago. It was a new class, a new environment for me. And yet I chose to sit beside you. Can you imagine what would've happened if I had chosen to sit elsewhere? We wouldn't be where we are now. You wouldn't have this awesome blog set-up and dedicated to you. ;-) Oh and trust me, I was a tad bit intimidated when I first sat beside you. At first it felt like you were going to scrutinize my every move and if I were to utter or do something stupid you would rip my head off that instant. But nah, you were nothing of that sort. I got to know you, I learned to understand you, deal with you, and bond with you. I hope that when I go to poly someone would welcome me to sit beside them with open arms just like you did. :) I don't say this much, but you mean a lot to me, a lot more than you can imagine. @ 12:46 AM In a blink of an eye, 5 years have passed, and we've all gone on our own different paths already. It felt like time whizzed pass us really fast without us realising. We've been through thick and thin, fights and blogwars and whatnots, until we matured and figured that fighting never solves problems. So as you know, I'm not someone who'll straight-forwardly talk about how I feel, so I guess this post would convey how much I treasure and love you as a friend. Thank you for being the only one who stuck by me when during Sec 1, when everyone treated me like an enemy. Thank you for planning birthday surprises/events/outings even though, somehow things would go wrong and you'd get all fed up. Thank you for sticking with me through thick or thin. I admit I may be a bad friend at times, but I'm trying to change. :/ From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you did, really. Whatever it is. I really treasure the memories that I have with you and I hope that we'll never drift apart. This somehow feels like a farewell speech or something but heck. So, in short, I just wanna say, thank you for everything. ♥ Oh, and most importantly, HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY. ♥ I hope that in future, even when we're like 20? 30? 40? or ever 50, we'll be able to celebrate each others' birthdays like this. :) I hope you enjoyed reading your present from me.
